Washington Wizards Head Coach Flip Saunders wants to use Shaun Livingston more.
The 24-year-old point guard, who was drafted No. 4 overall in 2004, signed a second consecutive 10-day contract with the Wizards on Tuesday afternoon.
Livingston then celebrated the new pact with his best performance in Washington: A 4 point, 5 assist effort that saw him play 20 minutes. more
The Washington Wizards fell to 21-40 Tuesday night following a 96-88 loss to the Houston Rockets. Andray Blatche and Nick Young led the way with 18 points each but it wasn’t enough to stop Houston. 8:51: Washington has run a couple of set plays for Mike Miller. He’s already got a long two-pointer, and just missed a good look at a three-ball. He’s the top 3-point shooter in the league. It’s good to see them trying to involve him. (7-4, HOU).
